Some of our neighbors may have noticed some changes on the land. But for those following us from further away: construction of our accessible Cemetery Lane is almost complete! The weather has been a challenge, as has the demand for rock and aggregate material following the destructive floods of July. But our road contractor, Griffin and Sons, has been making excellent progress and it is looking great.
We will, of course, wait to formally announce our Grand Opening until the road is actually finished. As things stand, though, we are thinking in terms of early October.
Those of you who offered to volunteer have already received our invitation, but we are planning a work weekend in September to get ready for the opening. If you have some energy and would like to help out, please send us a message and let us know.
We hope you're as excited as we are, and once again we thank you for your patience. It has been, no pun intended, a long road.
